Ukraine’s President Vladimir Zelensky has expressed by a desire to see more Ukrainian channels broadcast in neighbouring Belarus.
At the same time, reports Mediasat, quoting Interfax Ukraine, he would like to see more Belarusian channels made available in Ukraine.
President Zelensky said he had already discussed the prospect of more cooperation with his counterpart in Belarus President Alexander Lukashenko.
Furthermore, he pointed out that at the beginning of this year the Ukrainian public broadcaster UA TV’s service had been made available on cable networks in Belarus.
More recently, it was announced that Kvartal TV and Bolt would also be distributed in Belarus.
