[Watch video] German commercial TV broadcaster RTL II has renamed itself RTLzwei and introduced a new corporate design.
The previous round channel logo has been replaced by a square box with an open frame. The Roman II is located in the centre of the box. In the new name, ‘zwei’ (translated ‘two’) is spelled in full for the time in the channel’s history.
“RTLzwei stands for young, modern and innovative reality TV. We operate in a fragmented, digitised and highly competitive market. With our new corporate design, we are pursuing a clear goal: RTLzwei will remain clearly recognisable as an independent, unique entertainment brand,” said Carlos Zamorano, chief marketing & communications officer.
