Tower Productions appoints Sascha Naujoks as Head of Development

Sascha Naujoks has been appointedHead of Development at Tower Productions, a joint venture of British media houses BBC Studios and All3Media.

Naujoks is one of the most experienced creative minds in the TV industry and has been responsible for many successful TV formats throughout his career.

As Chief Editor Development at RTL, he was responsible for formats such as Guinness World Records – the biggest world records,The GDR Show, Schwiegertochter gesucht,Upps-Die Superpannenshow and Helfer mit Herz.

As Senior Vice President at ProSiebenSat.1 the Formats Julia Leischik sucht: Bitte melde dish,Rosins Restaurants, he Biggest Loser, Auf Streife and Promi Big Brother were in his remit.

Most recently, he discovered Paradise Hotel for TVNow and was responsible for Dickes Deutschland for RTL2, one of the highest-rated new launches for the channel in 2019.

Dietlinde Stroh, Managing Director at Tower Productions: “Sascha Naujoks as “Head of Development” is the perfect addition to the new Tower development team.

In addition to the catalogue formats, Sascha is also responsible for the acquisition of third-party licences at Tower and will be the creative driving force behind our Tower Originals. With Sascha’s expertise, Tower will continue to develop.

Sascha Naujoks: “The All3Media and BBC Studios formats are among the most attractive on the international programming market. They cover a broad spectrum and are of very high quality.
Since I have been working in the TV industry, the paths between my Tower colleagues and myself have crossed again and again. For example, together we launched Bauer sucht Frau and Jugendliebe for RTL and Das große Backen for Sat.1.
