Orange Spain reveals first drama production

September 23, 2019 11.46 Europe/London By Julian Clover

The first co-production produced by Mediapro on behalf of Orange Spain is a horror movie.

The unusual choice for the Spanish market tells the story of the disappearance of a group of young hikers while on the Camino de Santiago.

Pérez Ledo, author of two novels and creator and screenwriter behind some of the country’s best TV drama and other programmes is scheduled to give further details at the Serielizados Festival in Barcelona later this week.

Filming on the production will start this autumn. The story uses the audiovisual technique of “found footage” that first came to prominence in the Blair Witch Project.
