Canal+ has announced new sports added to its Ultra HD channel.
Since the start of the new Premier League season in August, Canal+ UHD has been showing one match per week in the Ultra HD format. From September 30 a second match is being shown.
Manchester United against Arsenal will be shown on September 30 with Newcastle versus Manchester United available the following Sunday.
Rugby fans can also watch TF1 coverage of the Rugby World Cup via TF1 4K, which will occupy the Canal 4K Event channel to the duration of the tournament.
The Canal+ UHD offer is available with the recently introduced Canal+ 4K Ultra UHD decoder (for satellite or internet reception), the UHD TV decoder for the Orange fibre, Apple TV 4K or a connected Samsung TV via internet.
