Radoslaw Slawinski has been appointed to the newly created role of director of thematic channels at Poland’s 
.
Wirtualne Media reports that he will be responsible for overseeing a total of 18 channels operated by the broadcaster.
It adds that Slawinski has been with Polsat since 2005 and was most recently the director of the thematic channel Polsat Doku.
Significantly, the role of director of thematic channels existed at Polsat up until 2011.
It has been reintroduced due to the increasing importance of thematic channels for Polsat.
