The Polish public broadcaster’s new channel TVP Wilno has been launched in Lithuania.
In a statement, the Lithuanian national transmission company Telecentras says it can be received terrestrially and free of charge in the south east of the country alongside five other unencrypted Polish channels – TVP Info, TVP Polonia, TVP Historia, Nuta.TV and Power TV – that have been available in the region since May 2008.
As previously reported by Broadband TV News, TVP Wilno is aimed at ethnic Poles, as well as those interested in Polish culture, history and current affairs.
