Dutch Stoneroos showcases OTT NOW! version 2.0 at IBC

September 4, 2019 15.15 Europe/London By Robert Briel

Building on the success of the OTT NOW! product Stoneroos is now rolling out version 2.0 of its white-label solution for operators.

For the EPG there is an in depth personal and genre recommendations. Viewers can choose between two EPG views: grid view and list view; and there is the possibility to have an EPG of up to seven channels in one single view.

The list view TV guide is unique and differs from most grid view based TV guides which shows the data in horizontal blocks. The patented Stoneroos guide shows channels side to side. When swiping up and down for one channel, the adjacent channels jump to the selected time slot, providing the user an easy way to see what is on at the same time.

With regards to Apple TV, OTT NOW! 2.0 offers Single Sign-on TV provider login; and is Apple tvOS certified following the official Apple tvOS user interface guidelines.

Customers that launched their new products in 2019 and already benefit from OTT NOW! 2.0 solutions are Swiss operator Sunrise and Dutch operators Delta and Caiway.

Earlier this year, Dutch TV providers Delta and Caiway have successfully launched a range of IPTV apps in a short timeline by using OTT NOW! Multi-Platform Solution. Making use of OTT NOW!, Stoneroos and the operators were able to create a cutting-edge brand new TV experience for new IPTV subscribers who now have the opportunity to experience all interactive features expected in current and future NextGen TV apps.

OTT NOW! offers a consistent UI across multiple devices. By making use of the OTT NOW! framework the UI is optimised for each device. Stoneroos’ technical knowledge combined with the experience gained in the past by creating dozens of ITV and EPG products, resulted in a consistent and seamless TV experience on any device.

Stoneroos will be showcasing OTT NOW! 2.0 at IBC at booth C.23; hall 14
