Vewd has announced an agreement with semiconductor vendor Realtek for the pre-integration of its smart TV technology on the company’s chipsets.
These include Vewd Core, the leading independent HTML5 SDK for connected TV devices, and essential Core modules, including the award-winning hybrid TV module, industry-leading standalone media player, and Freeview Play support module.

According to Vewd, more than 80% of the world’s Android TV-based smart TVs already ship with its software, which features support for key hybrid TV technologies, including HbbTV 2
