Media Distillery has agreed to run its AI-based EPG Correction product on the YouSee network in Denmark.
Using real-time analysis across multiple channels EPG Correction is able to provide automatic adjustments to update the actual start and end times of television programmes as they are broadcast, so that users can navigate programmes to provide a more compelling user experience.
It’s the first time the product has been introduced in Denmark.

Media Distillery systems use ‘Deep Content Understanding’ to identify and label features in audio-visual media automatically, enabling television and video service providers to enhance the presentation of programmes and offer a better viewing experience that meets the expectations of viewers.

YouSee, the largest telecommunications company in Denmark, is rolling out the Media Distillery technology in phases across 130 television channels. It will provide an improved experience for up to 1.2 million Danish households.
