German pay-TV channel Sportdigital is now called Sportdigital Fußball.
The name change reflects the fact that the sports coverage now entirely focuses on international live football. Sportdigital launched in 2007 with volleyball, handball and basketball from Germany, but developed more and more into a football channel.
The channel now shows 14 football competitions from all over the world, from Australia and China to Europe and North and South America.
The line-up includes the A-League (Australia), Championship (England), Eredivisie (Netherlands), Liga NOS (Portugal), Ekstraklasa (Poland), CONCACAF Champions League (North and Central America) Superliga Argentina and Copa de la Superliga (Argentina), Copa do Brasil (Brazil), Copa Libertadores (South America), Premjer Liga (Russia), Fortuna Liga (Czech Republic), Chinese Super League (China) and J.League (Japan).
Sportdigital can be received via cable, satellite, IPTV and web TV, reaching around 1.5 million subscribers. Via satellite and on most cable networks, the channel is distributed in HD quality.
