Hungary ended June with 2,548,962 cable and IPTV subscribers, according to data published by the regulator NMHH.
Of these, 1,878,425 opted for digital and 670,537 analogue services.
This compared to 2,544,040 cable and IPTV subscribers, of which 1,870,819 were digital and 673,221 analogue, a month earlier.
Meanwhile, the number of DTH subscribers fell from 762,549 in May to 7858,845 in June, and the pay-DTT total rose from 93,798 to 94,247 over the same period.
The estimated total number of pay-TV subscriptions in June stood at 3,579,000, or 2,000 more than a month earlier.
Data for the findings was provided by Magyar Telekom, UPC Hungary, Digi (Invitel and Digi), PR-Telekom, Tarr, ViDaNet, Parisat, UPC DTH and Antenna Hungária.
