Magyar Telekom’s TV revenues increased by 3.7% year-on-year in Q2 in its home market Hungary.
The company points out that this was a favourable result following a decline in the previous quarter and was attributable to an increase in the mumber of TV customers, which offset slightly declining ARPU levels.
The total number of TV customers in Hungary stood at 1,122,182 in Q2, up 7.4% on a year earlier, while blended TV ARPU was 3.3% lower at HF3,301 (€10.14 ).
Meanwhile, in North Macedonia Magyar Telekom subsidiary’s TV revenues grew by 17.2% year-on-year in Q2 to HUF1,113 million, boosted by a rising subscriber base and ARPU levels.
The total number of TV customers in Q2 stood at 131,876 (+8.3%).
Magyar Telekom group had total revenues of HUF160.754 million (-4.1%) in Q2. Its EBITDA was HUF56,931 million (+13.4%) and net profit HUF14,501 million (-1.5%).
