Lubor Zatko has been appointed the chief technology and IT officer (CTIO) at Maygar Telekom, effective October 1.
He will also become a member of Magyar Telekom’s management committee.
Zatko has 20 years of international experience in the areas of telecoms and IT, his previous responsibilities having ranged from mobile network development projects to fixed-line network transformations, and the completion of IT transformation and investment projects.
He has been the network development and delivery director at Slovak Telekom since June 2016.
At Magyar Telekom his executive responsibilities will cover overseeing the network development and operations, IT architecture development and operation activities.
Commenting on the appointment, Magyar Telekom’s CEO Tibor Rékasi said: “By appointing Lubor Zatko, we add an expert to our ranks who will be a valuable member of the management team.
