Yulia Kostecka joins Media Group Ukraine

August 5, 2019 07.57 Europe/London By Chris Dziadul

Yulia Kostecka has been appointed the business director of Media Group Ukraine (MGU), effective August 1.

She has extensive experience in the media, specifically in ad sales and the monetisation of projects, and has previously held the position of director of the sales house Media partnership and director RA of Media Partnership Baink.

She has also worked at such companies as UMH Publishing House, Blitz-Inform and Atlantic Group Ltd.

Commenting on the appointment, Yevgeny Bondarenko, director of MGU, said: “Our holding is now at an important and responsible stage of development. We need to decide on the key goals and objectives for the near future, a strategy for their implementation. Of course, we make all the changes with a focus on business results and financial efficiency, which is why the group’s expertise and experience and its focus on the commercial success of projects are very important to the group. It is especially valuable that Yulia is able to charge her faith in winning the whole team. I am glad that Yulia Kostecka responded with interest to the proposal, and I am sure that we have many inspiring challenges ahead.”

Kostecka added: “Joining the MGU team to implement the group’s development strategy is a great honour and a professional challenge for me. I am convinced that MGU is the most progressive media group in the market that has a strong potential to create, distribute and monetise content in line with new trends and challenges of the time. My experience in managing the group’s sales house will help transform the existing business model of the holding. Our goal is to grow the group’s profits while creating new products and developing promising content monetisation are among the priorities that drive and deliver energy to work. I am pleased to be part of a young team of MGU professionals who have optimism, motivation and faith in what we create and develop.”
