The SpaceX launch of Spacecom’s new communication satellite Amos-17 has been put back to Tuesday evening (ET).
The satellite was scheduled for launch on Sunday evening, but was delayed after engineers at Florida’s Cape Canaveral Air Force Station identified a suspect valve identified a suspect valve.
In a statement to the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange, Spacecom said the launch had been rescheduled for late Tuesday, pending final authorisations.
Amos 17 will be located at 17 degrees East where it will reach across the African continent, along with the Middle East and Africa. It will have C-Band HTS, Ka-band and Ku-band capability.
