Digi Communications, the parent company of RCS&RDS, has secured a syndicated facility agreement.
Consisting of two facilities in Romanian Lei (RON), Euros and Hungarian Forints (HUF) and obtained from ING Bank, Unicredit Bank and several other financial parties and institutions, it has been granted for 12 months, with a possible extension to 24 months.
The funds, amounting to €150 million but possibly increasing up to €250 million or its equivalent in other currencies, will be used by the company and its subsidiaries for investment purposes.
Digi is one of the leading providers of pay-TV and broadband services in Romania and Hungary.
