Nigel Adams has been appointed as minister of state at the Department for Digital, Culture, Media and Sport.
He replaces Margot James who resigned last week after refusing to back the government in a vote designed to prevent the prime minister from suspending Parliament in order to push through a no-deal Brexit.
With Nicky Morgan appointed as his boss in Boris Johnson’s first cabinet, the new prime minister has now been filling junior positions.
