Poland’s third largest cable operator Multimedia Polska saw a fall in both its revenues and RGU total in 2018.
Figures published by Wirtualne Media show that Multimedia’s total sales revenues fell from PLN678.389 million (€159.379 million) in 2017 to PLN645.932 million last year.
At the same time, its net losses increased by PLN1.81 million to PLN66.46 million.
Multimedia’s customer total at the end of 2018 stood at 725,900, receiving 1.7 million RGUs, with the latter figure falling by 45,200 during the year.
Although ARPU rose from PLN68.91 to PLN69.70 during the year, churn grew from 16.8% to 19.4%.
Multimedia’s performance in 2018 was affected by the failed takeover by UPC Polska and more recently uncertainty about its proposed acquisition by Vectra.
