Pluto TV has launched three new linear channels in Germany and Austria, drawn from the entertainment brand portfolio of parent company Viacom.
The ad-supported free streaming platform now hosts channels for Nickelodeon’s SpongeBob SquarePants to celebrate the show’s 20th anniversary and MTV’s reality show The Hills, in time for the premiere of the reboot The Hills: New Beginnings in German-speaking Europe.
Additionally, a channel dedicated entirely to MTV’s show Teen Mom is now available.
“We are celebrating two major series events with The Hills and SpongeBob SquarePants coming to Pluto TV. Both hit shows are truly an asset to our line-up, with their fascinating and inspiring charm appealing to our audiences’ nostalgia, serving the perfect mix to binge-watch,” said Olivier Jollet, managing director Europe at Pluto TV.
Pluto TV launched in Germany and Austria in December 2018 and offers more than 30 channels including curated thematically driven channels such as Pluto TV Movies and Pluto TV History as well as single show pop-up channels and branded channels.
