The Croatian regulator HAKOM has made two important decisions related to the country’s electronic communications market.
In a statement, it sys the first was to grant DTT licences for the national multiplexes M1 and M2 and regional multiplex L1 to the national transmission company OiV.
M2 will begin transmissions no later than September 15, 2019 and achieve full coverage on July 1, 2020. Meanwhile, M2 will achieve full coverage by November 15, 2019 and L1 on July 22, 2020.
HAKOM’s second decision relates to changes in the Ordinance on Amendments to the Rulebook on the manner and conditions for the performance of the activities of electronic communications networks and services.
The changes will partly come into effect on August 1 this year and January 1, 2020.
