Cyfrowy Polsat has effectively taken over the Polish-registered Eleven Sports Network from its parent company.
According to Presserwis, quoting information published by the National Court Register (KRS), its subsidiary Telewizja Polska has increased the number of shares it owns in the company from 3,340 to 6,678. The shares were acquired from Eleven Sports Network Ltd, which has retained one share.
Following the transaction, Polsat holds a 99.99% stake in the company.
As previously reported by Broadband TV News, Cyfrowy Polsat bought 50% plus one share in the company for €38 million in May last year.
