YouTube has returned to Amazon Fire TV, with the official app available worldwide on Fire TV Stick (2nd Gen), Fire TV Stick 4K, Fire TV Cube, Fire TV Stick Basic Edition and all Fire TV Edition smart TVs.
According to Amazon, it will expand to additional Fire TV devices in the coming months, with YouTube TV and YouTube Kids launching later this year.
The official YouTube app on Fire TV gives yaccess to a diverse library of video content including music, how-to videos, entertainment, news, gaming and YouTube creators. It also allows users to play compatible videos in 4K HDR at 60 fps on supported TVs and streaming media players.
The official YouTube app also works with Alexa.
In addition, Amazon Prime Video can now be watched on Chromecast and Android TV devices.
