German multiscreen software solutions provider 3 Screen Solutions (3SS) has been selected by ProSiebenSat.1 and Discovery to provide development, engineering and integration for their new German streaming platform Joyn.
Joyn, which launched on June 18, 2019, offers over 50 live TV channels, catch-up and on-demand services, available free and without registration on smartphones, tablets, smart TVs and the web.
3SS custom-developed Joyn’s web front-end based on its 3Ready front-end user interface (UI) framework. The company also supported the Joyn engineering team in the development phase of the apps for iOS, Android mobile, Apple TV, Fire TV, Android TV, Samsung TV and other smart TV devices.
