The Italian DTH platform tivùsat now has an average of 4.5 million viewers each day, according to data published by Auditel.Furthermore, it has over 3.5 million active smart cards.
The platform, which is managed by Tivù s.r.l, a company owned by Rai, Mediaset, Telecom Italia, the local TV Association and Aeranti Corallo, is currently celebrating its 10th anniversary.
Its offer consists of 116 TV channels, including general, thematic and all-news services, of which 47 are in HD; 47 radio stations; a large selection of on demand services and four channels in 4K Ultra HD.
It also provides a seven-day catch-up application named Sutivùsat.
Accessing tivùsat does not require a subscription and is possible through a certified device (decoder or CAM), satellite dish aimed at Eutelsat Hotbird 13 degrees East and a smartcard included in the decoder or CAM package.
