Netflix eyes Polish expansion

July 3, 2019 10.31 Europe/London By Chris Dziadul

Netflix is looking into the possibility of opening a local office in Warsaw in 2020.

Furthermore, reports Presserwis, it is currently in the process of recruiting a senior manager for business development for Central and Eastern Europe, based in Amsterdam and with a knowledge of both English and Polish.

It adds that earlier it was looking to recruit a senior partnership manager for the region and that a manager from a Polish media company was one of the candidates.

Netflix recruited Lukasz Kluskiewicz as its content acquisition manager for CEE earlier this year, working out its Amsterdam office, and last month appointed Tomasz Ebbig to the newly created role of marketing director for CEE.

Aside from Amsterdam, Netflix already has European offices in Berlin, London, Madrid and Paris.
