Discovery is planning to bring Eurosport 4K to Romania, according to Andrey Stoychev, VP of business development, distribution, sports and commercial operations for Discovery in CEEMCA.
Speaking exclusively to Media Expres, he added that more generally Discovery wants to improve its fans’ experience in Romania with HDR and 4K broadcasts, and continue investing in innovative projects.
Aside from Eurosport 4K, it is talking with its partners to bring 4K non-fiction content to Romania.
It has also managed to secure local HD rights on Eurosport for such competitions as the Premier League.
