Fedor Grechaninov has been appointed the director of strategy and business development at Media Group Ukraine (MGU), effective July 1.
For the past seven years he has worked for StarLightMedia Group as director of strategic development and since 2013 he was also responsible for the development of the company’s digital business and pay-TV revenues.
Commenting on the appointment, Evgen Bondarenko, director of MGU, said: “Digital business and the development of paid content distribution is one of the key areas of strategic development of MGU. Therefore, the experience and expertise of Fedor Grechaninov in these areas, and the recognition by the entire market of his ability to see and analyse the actual trends in the industry, are extremely important for us”.
Grechaninov added: “Our industry is now in a challenging time. A Time of frequent and rapid changes in technology, business models, approaches, effective strategies. Keeping and developing leadership in such conditions is a complex and at the same time an extremely interesting task. I am very optimistic about joining the group to help the team solve this problem”.
