Alex Tielbeke, the statutory director of the Eredivisie CV and commercial director of Eredivisie Media and Marketing, will be stepping down from both roles, on August 1 and December 1, respectively.
Tielbeke joined the Eredivisie in 2004. He managed the move to collective media and sponsorship rights and was key in the formation and sale of Eredivisie Media and Marketing CV, a separate media company that exploited domestic rights to the league on its Eredivisie Live channel.
During his tenure the EMM sold a 51% stake of Eredivisie Live to the Fox Networks Group division of media company 21st Century Fox securing record investment for Eredivisie clubs.
