Klara Brachtlova and Jan Vlcek have been appointed joint CEOs of the Czech national commercial broadcaster TV Nova.
Both have been members of TV Nova’s top management for more than five years, with Brachtlova having joined the company in 2007 and held the position of CFO since 2014 and Vlcek joining in 2011 as sales director.
Commenting on the appointments, Christoph Mainusch, CME co-CEO and chairman of the supervisory board of TV Nova, said: “Klara and Jan have done great results and both have made a significant contribution to strengthening TV Nova’s leadership and business partners. They are experienced media professionals and have been an integral part of TV Nova’s success in recent years. By appointing them as joint CEOs, we will ensure the long-term continuity of TV Nova’s management strategy, which is aimed at further strengthening the core business, including the development of online activities. I wish both of them a lot of success in their new role”.
In a joint statement, Brachtlova and Jan Vlcek said: “In our new role, we want to build on the excellent results that TV Nova has achieved in recent years. The rapidly developing media environment offers many opportunities for further development of TV Nova’s business activities.
