All Digi TV customers in the Czech Republic can now access the service via Apple TV.
Commenting on the development, Iveta Slapalova, director of customer services at Gigi TV, said: “In addition to expanding and improving programme offerings this year, Digi TV is focusing on enhancing features and user comfort for our customers. The Apple TV app was preceded by the launch of Digi TV for Samsung’s smart TVs. We have also changed the Digi TV user interface in the browser on computers. More news will follow”.
Arris’s set-top box still remains the most popular way to receive Digi TV. However, the number of connections with Samsung smart TVs, mobile phones, tablets and PCs is also increasing.
Digi TV notes that it is also working on making its service available on other brands of smart TVs and multimedia devices.
