Kathrin Palesch will become the new managing director of A+E Networks Germany on June 1, 2019.
Palesch succeeds Dr Andreas Weinek who will leave the TV broadcaster at the end of this month at his own request.
Palesch joined A+E Networks Germany in 2008 as director of the finance department. Since 2015, the graduate in business administration has also been responsible for distribution in German-speaking Europe as director finance and business development.
Previously, Palesch worked at NBC Universal Global Networks Deutschland as head of accounting and controlling.
A+E Networks Germany operates History in Germany, Austria and Switzerland and the new channel Crime + Investigation, which will launch on June 29, 2019, replacing A&E.
