NEP Switzerland will deploy a solution for transporting professional live media over the internet from Swedish media service provider Net Insight.
NEP Switzerland, a provider of outsourced production services supporting producers of live sports, entertainment, music and corporate events, will use Net Insight’s Nimbra-based network for streaming professional live content and will build a fully redundant solution.
The system will be used for event activities to locations where fibre or satellite uplinks are either not available or cost prohibitive. The new network is scheduled to be operational at the end of July 2019.
