Every year early June, Cologne is the place to be if you are in the satellite, cable, broadband and associated businesses. The Messe Köln is three days buzzing with people from all over Europe and places as far away as the Americas, Middle East, Africa and Asia to learn what’s next in this ever-changing business.
This year, we see an increased number of English language panel discussions catering to an international audience; panels are also covering topics that define the future of the business, such as Streaming as a Game Changer for Film and Television, where people from the traditional broadcasters such as RTL and Discovery and ProSiebenSat.1 are meeting with relative newcomer Amazon Prime Video. And the deployment of fibre networks will be discussed in Fiber Roll-Out on the Test Bench.
On the show floor we will also see traditional parties as well as newcomers, with new and possibly disrupting business models. ANGA COM this year promises to be (again) an interesting place to listen and learn, to do business and to meet old en new acquaintances.
