The Czech Republic’s O2 TV service ended Q1 with a total of 361,000 IPTV and OTT customers.
Of these, 45,000 subscribed to the complementary Multi service, which allows customers to watch TV on multiple sets at once.
Customers are granted four free licences for each tariff, allowing them to watch the entire O2 TV content on the web or in mobile applications.
Almost 530,000 viewers used this opportunity on a regular basis in Q1, including customers of the O2 TV Sport package.
As of the end of March there were almost 890,000 O2 TV active accesses.
O2 Czech, which is also present in Slovakia, had total revenues of CZK 9,249 million (€359.4 million) in Q1, or 0.5% more than a year earlier.
EBITDA amounted to CZK2,906 million (+11.5%) and net profit CZK1,236 million (-7%).
