Travelxp expands in Slovenia

April 30, 2019 09.50 Europe/London By Chris Dziadul

Telekom Slovenije has made localised versions of both Travelxp 4K and Travelxp HD available to its customers.

Commenting on the development, Simon Slonjsak, director of business development, Telekom Slovenije, said: “In 2018, Telekom Slovenije launched Neo, the next generation of home entertainment that integrates an open, secure, cloud-connected and state-of-the-art smart home solution. We tied up with Travelxp 4K for our television scheme and we’re happy to present a new dimension of video quality with its diverse localised content to our subscribers. Telekom Slovenije is pleased to be a part of Travelxp’s global network with all its new premium content to follow this year, both on Travelxp 4K and Travelxp HD programme, which also will soon be available. We believe that our subscribers will recognise the diversity and the quality of content on both channels.”

Sumant Bahl, MD-Europe, Travelxp, added: “Travelxp has established its strong foothold in many European countries and Slovenia has been an important market for us. We are very pleased to have Telekom Slovenije on board with the launch of the premium HDR content on Travelxp 4K in HLG HDR, 10 bit REC 2100 colour space and 50 frames. The fact that Travelxp’s shows are also localised in various languages gives us a huge boost in connecting with the audiences. Travelxp HD will also be available to customers of Telekom Slovenije and we look forward to providing them with premium quality content on both these channels.”
