Thilo Schlüter and Manuel Uhlitzsch join Pantaflix

April 29, 2019 08.01 Europe/London By Jörn Krieger

German media company Pantaflix is set to intensify the expansion of its video-on-demand (VOD) business by bringing two additional digital and media experts on board: Thilo Schlüter and Manuel Uhlitzsch.

Schlüter (pictured left) takes over the position of Chief Operating Officer (COO) with immediate effect. Previously, he was a strategy director for Northern Europe at Viacom International Media Networks and most recently Vice President responsible for product, marketing and communications within German-speaking Europe.

Uhlitzsch (pictured right) is is the co-founder and CEO of 7NXT Health, a start-up within ProSiebenSat.1 developing and monetising paid online coaching sessions with influencers. Previously, he was the CEO of Magic Internet which developed video portal MyVideo and music streaming service Ampya.

The executive team’s central task will be the further integration of all group divisions into the group’s overall digital strategy. The VOD service operated by Pantaflix will serve as a central platform for developments from other group divisions.

Furthermore, the two managers will strengthen the existing business development team in identifying new, additional business opportunities that are arising from ongoing developments in the media market, according to Pantaflix.

“With Thilo Schlüter and Manuel Uhlitzsch, we will open a new chapter in the history of Pantaflix and monetise our digital activities even more efficiently. Together, we will shape our existing and future VOD business and put it on a sustainable basis,” said Pantaflix CEO Nicolas Paalzow.
