The Latvian incumbent Tet, formerly known as Lattelecom, saw its TV revenues grow by 3% year-on-year to March 1.
This, says the company in a statement on its Q1 performance, was largely due to the increased popularity of its Shortcut app. Its offer in the quarter included topical movies and series from both Latvia and Hollywood.
Tet’s total revenues in Q1 amounted to €50.6 million, or 6% more than a year earlier, with the fastest growth being seen in the new business areas of data centre and security solutions, Tet’s electricity services and construction business.
As previously reported by Broadband TV News, Lattelecom was rebranded Tet at the beginning April.
