Da Vinci expands across Asia

April 29, 2019 11.31 Europe/London By Robert Briel

Educational family channel Da Vinci is expanding its footprint across Asia with the launch on Now TV in Hong Kong and a number of other carriage deals.

Da Vinci has partnered with Now TV, who recently introduced its learning ecosystem, the STEM Learning Pack, to families in Hong Kong. In addition to a range of Da Vinci on-demand programming, the STEM Learning Pack includes the Da Vinci Kids App, an interactive VOD player with educational games and quizzes, which is made available exclusively to Now TV subscribers across Hong Kong. Additionally, Da Vinci’s 24/7 live channel has been added to Now TV’s pay-tv platform.

Da Vinci’s Managing Director, Ferdinand Habsburg, said: “We are very excited to be aligning with Now TV in the name of promoting education to families across Hong Kong. The STEM Learning Pack is a fantastic, immersive educational tool that helps kids stay one step ahead, providing the skills necessary to succeed in a rapidly changing academic environment.”

This year, the Da Vinci Kids App has successively launched with telecommunication companies Singtel in Singapore, Globe in the Philippines, and XL Axiata in Indonesia. The Da Vinci channel also recently began airing on Emtek Group’s new OTT platform, Vidio, in Indonesia.
