Tele2 says its cost transformation is “on track” in the first full quarter following its merger with Com Hem.
CEO Anders Nilsson says the company wants to transform Tele2 into a truly integrated operator.
Com Hem Mobile has been launched with what’s been described as “early progress”.
The Swedish cablenet saw steady growth to its fixed broadband subscriber base with the net addition of 12,000 connections, in line with the first quarter of 2018. There has been “sustained” subscriber growth to both the Com Hem and Boxer brands.
Com Hem’s TV subscriber base grew by 3,000 after a slight decline in Q1 2018. New group agreements were responsible for the increase.
Boxer’s TV subscriber base continues to decline at the hands of the continued fibre rollout. This also lead to a fall in TV revenues by 6 per cent.
