German commercial broadcaster Mediengruppe RTL Deutschland has rebranded its US series channel Now US into Now!.
The free-to-air channel launched in March 2018 will no longer show just US series, but also international productions, an RTL spokesman explained the move to Broadband TV News.
Examples are Motive and King (both from Canada), Weinberg (Germany), Transporter and Ransom, two multi-national co-productions with participation of Mediengruppe RTL, British-American co-productions Humans and Liar as well as French-American co-production Taxi Brooklyn.
Now! can be received each evening between 20.15 and 6.00 CET as a linear channel within the subscription package of RTL’s streaming service TV Now. Following the broadcast on the linear channel, the series can be watched on-demand free of charge.
