TRT World expands global reach with addition of iflix

TRT World, Turkey’s international English-language news channel operated by Turkish Radio and Television Corporation has partnered with iflix.

TRT World’s linear broadcast will join iflix News, iflix’s 24-hour news hub which aggregates live news streams, clips, and linear feeds from leading international, regional and local news authorities.

All iflix users across Asia can access the TRT World channel for news and current affairs, 24/7, available both on iflixVIP and iflixFree. The premium-dedicated channel will feature all TRT World programming, including The Newsmakers, Compass, Roundtable, Showcase, Money Talks, Beyond the Game and Newsfeed.

Furkan Han, TRT World’s Head of Global Digital & Satellite Distribution & Partnership, stated that “We are glad to have a partnership with iflix providing our human focused premium content to Asia Pacific market with 30 territories including islands. TRT World enhances its global reach through its collaborations with digital and pay tv platforms day by day and this partnership with iflix will enable us to increase the number of viewers in Asia Pacific region.”
