German newspaper group Bild is bundling its videos on news, technology, lifestyle and other topics in its own channel on TV platform waipu.tv.
The 24-hour service, which includes content from tabloid newspaper Bild and the magazines Auto Bild and Computer Bild, can be received by all waipu.tv customers – including users of the free TV package.
The videos are divided into the sections politics, news, celebrities, lifestyle, cars, technology, reports & documentaries and history. Each viewer receives an individual, automatically composed video stream.
The videos can also be accessed separately on the waipu.tv catch-up portal.
For special news situations, Bild can interrupt the stream for ‘breaking news’. The political debate show Die richtigen Fragen (‘The right questions’) is shown live every Monday morning at 8.00 CET.
“Bild now reaches all screens. Our attractive, journalistic video offer can also be watched 24 hours per day in TV quality from now on. This enables us to reach new target groups through waipu.tv,” said Bild editor-in-chief Julian Reichelt.
