Austrian DTH satellite platform HD Austria welcomed its 150,000th customer in March 2019.
The continuous expansion of the hybrid TV service and the launch of the HD Austria smart TV app have accelerated customer growth in recent months, the subsidiary of M7 Group announced in Vienna.
“We are delighted to have convinced more than 150,000 customers in Austria of our seamless, hybrid television experience,” said Martijn van Hout, director of HD Austria.
“This result clearly shows that our combination of linear and non-linear TV content in excellent picture quality is the most attractive offer in this segment and that our potential is far from exhausted”, added van Hout.
One year ago, the platform broadcasting on the Astra satellite system (19,2° East) had 125,000 customers.
