The Russian national broadcaster NTV has entered into a partnership with the Israeli TV company Keshet International.
Kommersant reports that under the terms of the deal the two parties will invest a total of R100 million (€1.36 million) in the creation of a talent show for motorists.
Known as Drive Master, it will be produced by the Russian company WeIT Media for the Russian and Israeli markets. However, the rights to its format, owned 50/50 by NTV and Keshet, are also expected to be sold to other foreign channels and negotations are already taking place.
Keshet International is part of the Israeli Keshet Media Group.
Its most famous production to date is the series Prisoners of War, on which Showtime’s Homeland is based.
