Paramount Play, the SVOD service operated by Viacom International Media Networks (VIMN), has secured carriage on Poland’s ipla and Orange TV.
According to ipla’s operator Cyfrowy Polsat, it is available in the Ipla Filmy i Seriale package, which can be viewed free of charge for a 14-day trial period.
Paramount Play will also this spring be offered to customers of Orange TV thanks to an agreement between VIMN and the Polish incumbent Orange Polska.
Paramount Play was launched in October 2018 and Poland is the first country in the CEE region to receive the service. It is already available to customers of Play and the cable operator Toya.
Commenting on the new launches, Gabor Harsanyi, VP of content distribution, VIMN CEEI, said: “We are very happy to strengthen our cooperation with Cyfrowy Polsat and Orange Polska. The contracts we sign will allow us to provide more content tailored to the needs of Polish viewers who will use the content freely. Paramount Play will give them access to a wide range of programmess offered by Viacom, available anytime, anywhere on any device.”
