German cable operator RFT Kabel wants to add an IPTV product to its portfolio and has opted for a partnership with IPTV service provider BrightBlue.
The offer, based on BrightBlue’s white label platform, will include a wide selection of TV channels as well as additional features such as recording, time-shifting and replay TV.
Customers will be able to access the service on the TV set using an IPTV box as well as on their smartphones and tablets. The launch is scheduled for later this year.
“As a regional carrier, we are interested in solutions that are both powerful and easy to use. This will enable us to offer our customers a future-proof TV experience, including HD and 4K content on-demand,” said Stefan Tiemann, managing director of RFT Kabel.
