The Russian cable operator ER Telecom has posted revenues of R39.739 billion (€541 million) for 2018, or 18% more than in the previous year.
At the same time, its EBITDA was 30% higher at R12.733 billion and net profit up 70% to R2.110 billion.
Meanwhile, its active B2C subscriber base grew by 10.4% in 2018 to reach 7,002,000.
ER Telecom, which employs the brand name Dom.ru, also says that it added 24 new channels to its offer in 2108, bringing the total to 219, of which 85 were in HD. The latter, according to Telecom Daily, was the highest figure among all Russian operators.
Commenting on the results, Andrei Kuzyaev, president of ER Telecom Holding JSC, said: “I am satisfied with the results of the company’s work in 2018. We have completed our five-year strategy to double the scale of business a year earlier. EBITDA in 2018 grew at a faster pace than revenue. ”
