March 21, 2019 11.24 Europe/London By Julian Clover

Red Bee Media has opened a brand new media management facility at Broadcast Centre, White City, London.

The facility runs on Nucleus, Red Bee’s next-generation hybrid unified cloud platform, and are fully integrated with a new AV ingest area, extensive post-production facilities and connected to all Red Bee Media supported Playout and OTT platforms.

All services can be seamlessly accessed, monitored, operated and supported from any location around the globe. Nucleus handles up to 3.5 million tasks and around 400,000 assets annually, including 350,000 VOD orders.

“We have made a major investment to create a state-of-the-art offering, catering to all Media Management needs on a global scale. Our services offer high flexibility, fast onboarding and a range of competitive commercial models. With our new London facilities, we are taking the next step in enriching, managing and connecting media assets”, says Steve Russell, Head of Media Management and OTT, Red Bee Media

The platform allows for both cloud-based editing tools and full integration with leading editing platforms. Distribution can be made to any service including playout, OTT and social media seamlessly.

Nucleus will be showcased at the NAB Show 2019 on the Red Bee Media stand.
