Broadband Summit on Fibre Roll-Out, Media Summit on Streaming

On 5 June 2019, the German Broadband Summit and the German Media Summit will take place. The Broadband Summit is titled “Fiber Roll-Out on the Test Bench”, the Media Summit will discuss the topic “Streaming as a Game Changer for Film and Television”. The following participants have already confirmed for the two summit events:

Dr. Thomas Bellut (Chairman, ZDF), Oliver Berben (Managing Board Television, Digital Media, Entertainment, Constantin Film), Dr. Manuel Cubero (Chief Commercial Officer, Vodafone Deutschland), Matthias Dang (Managing Director Marketing, Technology & Data, Mediengruppe RTL Deutschland), Timm Degenhardt (CEO, Tele Columbus), Dr. Christian Franckenstein (CEO, Bavaria Film), Timo von Lepel (Managing Director, NetCologne), Uwe Nickl (Managing Director, Deutsche Glasfaser), Winfried Rapp (CEO, Unitymedia), Dr. Christoph Schneider (Managing Director, Amazon Prime Video Germany), Norbert Westfal (Spokesperson of the Management Board, EWE TEL / EWE Vertrieb) and Dr. Dirk Wössner (Member of the Management Board for Germany, Deutsche Telekom). Ina Karabasz (Handelsblatt) will moderate the Broadband Summit, Thomas Lückerath (DWDL.de) will be the moderator of the Media Summit.

36 conference panels on broadband and media topics

Topics of the 36 conference panels include Fiber, 5G, AppTV, Smart City, Internet of Things, Smart Home, Cloud TV, Copyright, Media Policy and Personalized TV. Within the core areas of ANGA COM, the topics Big Data, Artificial Intelligence, Start-Ups and Cyber Security will be especially expanded. The complete ANGA COM conference programme will be published at the end of March.
